PhD Research Reveals Real Stolen Generations Story
Recently Jennifer Caruso, an Arrente woman and Survivor of the Stolen Generations graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Doctorate in Philosophy.Dr Jennifer Caruso’s thesis for her PhD is a personal reflection on being taken from her family, and through historical investigation and analysis she reveals the race based policies behind the removals.
We spoke to Dr Caruso in her office in the Department of History at the University of Adelaide shortly after her graduation.
