This week Lucy speaks to Courtney Hunter Hebberman at a meeting held in Adelaide held to discuss child protection reform. The meeting heard from the Aboriginal community of SA about the proposed changes and how the reforms must reflect cultural identity and Aboriginal kinship systems. Courtney shared her family’s story of intergenerational child removal with Aboriginal Way.

Courtney is part of the community group “Grandmothers against Forced Removals”, you can find out more and contact them via Facebook.
