Nominations Open For Governor’s Aboriginal Youth Awards

The Governor’s Aboriginal Youth Awards recognise young Aboriginal South Australians who are showing potential and determination to achieve success, or who are excelling in their chosen field in one of three areas: Sport, the Arts and Higher Education.

Nominations are encouraged from young South Australian Aboriginal solo artists aged between 15 and 29 years who are singers, songwriters, musicians or music producers.

The recipient will receive a certificate of recognition, $3000, and the services of a mentor to assist in career development.

To be in the running to win the 2018 Arts Award, nominees are asked to forward a completed nomination form, along with a sample/s of their talent (further description found in nomination form), via one of the following options by 5pm Thursday 29 March 2018:
