Payroll/Accounts Payable Officer
Permanent Part Time (0.4 FTE – 0.6 FTE)

 

Are you experienced in providing professional, best practice payroll services in a not for profit environment?
Do you want to work in a team that provide finance, payroll, and business for both internal and external customers?
Do you want to work in a flexible, friendly and rewarding environment?
Then this might be the role for you!

 

We are looking for a permanent part time Payroll/Accounts Payable Officer to work within a team that delivers payroll, accounts payable and business services to internal clients and external clients with a focus on continuous improvement.

Based in the Adelaide CBD but with some intra and interstate travel, to be successful you will need:

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Payroll and Accounts Payable position, studies towards an appropriate qualification would be desirable
  • Proficient in the use of Attache Payroll and Reckon systems
  • High level of analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to prioritise
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and numeracy skills
  • Strong understanding of processes and internal controls
  • Proven organisational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work autonomously, under pressure and within stringent timeframes.
  • Good communication and administrative skills
  • Competent in the application of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Competent in the use of computerised accounting systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience working in a highly confidential environment
  • Interest in and understanding of Indigenous Australian societies and cultures, and the issues affecting these cultures in Australian society.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the principles and practices of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Health and Safety.

Work Experience/School Based Traineeship

SANTS provides opportunities to students doing work experience placements. Anyone wishing to undertake work with SANTS in a work experience, school student or trainee capacity may apply via this website.

Internships

SANTS provides opportunities for University students or graduates wishing to undergo an internship at SANTS. Students are placed via the Aurora Internship Program.

The program places Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous students and graduates in full-time unpaid internships for up to 6 weeks.

SANTS values learning and welcomes interns as valued members of the organisation during their internship.
