Communications Officer – Full Time ongoing

We are looking for a Communications Officer to deliver a broad range of communication services.
Based in the Adelaide CBD but with some intra and interstate travel, to be successful you will need:


•Experience in producing clear and engaging written content for a range of publications, including newsletters and corporate publications
•Skills in writing for online and using website content management systems
•Some media research and interview skills or demonstrated capacity to develop these skills
•Experience in supporting internal organizational communications, or capacity to develop these skills
•Experience or knowledge in print production processes
•Experience working with radio program production and presentation, or an interest in developing these skills
•Understanding of media liaison functions
•Ability to establish and maintain positive and constructive relationships with a wide range of people, internal and external to the organisation
•High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
•Strong time management and organisational skills.
•Tertiary or Vocational Qualifications in relevant area (e.g., Media, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations) [or studies towards], or equivalent demonstrable experience.
•A current South Australian Driver’s Licence
•Knowledge of and networks within South Australian Aboriginal communities.

Work Experience/School Based Traineeship

SANTS provides opportunities to students doing work experience placements. Anyone wishing to undertake work with SANTS in a work experience, school student or trainee capacity may apply via this website.


SANTS provides opportunities for University students or graduates wishing to undergo an internship at SANTS. Students are placed via the Aurora Internship Program.

The program places Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous students and graduates in full-time unpaid internships for up to 6 weeks.

SANTS values learning and welcomes interns as valued members of the organisation during their internship.
