Yankunytjatjara Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (YNTAC) has received an application for authorisation under the Aboriginal Heritage Act for Scope 1 of the Oodnadatta Track Re-Sheeting Project and seeks to consult with Yankunytjatjara traditional owners. Full details are in the following notice:

Three Aboriginal nations have overcome many challenges to have their shared native title rights over an area in the mid north of South Australia recognised in a Federal Court hearing in the town of Orroroo. The Federal Court decision about an overlap of three longstanding native title claims brings together the Ngadjuri, Wilyakali and Adnyamathanha peoples in a joint determination of their native title rights and interests.
